MELBOURNE, 1 JUNE 2017 — Arts Centre Melbourne’s Gallery 1 will be transformed into The Kiln, a space for artists and arts workers to gather this winter from June to August for a program of discussions, masterclasses, networking events, residencies, readings, forums and training.
Arts Access Victoria, the state's leading arts and disability organisation, recently launched ARTfinder, a searchable listing of inclusive and accessible arts and cultural programs across Victoria.
Artwell is a weekly program for community members to work on mental wellness through art practices such as painting, drawing, sculpture and more. Participants are led by a facilitator to create new art, or are welcome to continue to work on their own practice. $5 per session. Wednesdays 10am to 12noon (during school terms).
BAM Allstars over 25's classes run on Saturdays at Monash Peninsula Campus at 12 p.m and Wednesdays at Cube 37 10:15 - 12:45 (3 classes). We teach modern, fun routines to popular music, and our classes provide a great social, recreational environment for our students.
The Build your Business workshop program is a key pillar for providing support to the small business community. For the first time, Council has partnered with co-working facility, Frankston Foundry, to deliver its most exciting and innovative workshop program yet. The program includes a range of topics, with a distinct focus on ‘business in the digital age’ and start ups.
