Tiny Cats (5-7 yrs): Tuesdays or Wednesdays 4.00pm - 5.00pm Junior Cats (8-12 yrs): Tuesdays or Wednesdays 5.00pm - 6.30pm Senior Cats (13-+ yrs): Tuesdays 6.40pm - 8.40pm Classes are held at Cube 37, 37 Davey Street, Frankston 3199. Every term the Hip Cat Circus teaches circus skills to 5-21+ years in a positive learning environment led by professional trainers and conducted during School Terms.
Circus provides a sense of ownership within a social network, whilst increasing fundamental life skills such as coordination, coping strategies, respect, team work, creativity, trust, mental and physical health. Circus skills that can be learned include aerials, tumbling, acrobalance, manipulation, clowning, trampoline, and much more.
Hip Cat Circus teaches circus arts in a positive learning environment led by professional trainers. It aims to inspire and facilitate creativity, develop leaders, provide professional development.
The Troupe:
The Hip Cat Circus Youth Troupe is available for hire and can bring that extra ZING! to any occasion. We are available for performances, roving performances, workshops, and come & try activities.
Mentorships:
At Hip Cat Circus we strive to create a wholesome learning experience for young people. Mentorships give our Senior Hip Cats the opportunity to learn from experienced trainers so that they too can become trainers. Mentorships are open to Senior Hip Cats who have shown commitment, initiative and an eagerness to learn and can take 1-2 years depending on experience and commitment.
