Robyn Rich

Robyn Rich is a Melbourne born artist with a love of painting, drawing and fabric sculpture. Robyn completed a Diploma of Visual Art in 2012, an Advanced Diploma of Creative Product Design in 2013 and is currently studying an Advanced Diploma of Public Art.

Robyn has exhibited in solo and group shows in many galleries across Melbourne and recently was a finalist in The Portia Geach Memorial Portrait Awards in Sydney and the Rick Amor Self Portrait prize. She has also been group leader and exhibitor for the ‘Aspects of Beauty’ exhibition in 2005 and the ‘Tales of Christmas Treasure’ exhibition in 2013 at The Johnston Collection Decorative Fine Arts Museum in Melbourne. Robyn has had her work published in many embroidery magazines and her fabric sculptures were featured in ‘frankie’ magazine.

Robyn’s artistic aim is to provide narrative and comment on our life experience through the inclusion of our everyday objects. Her artwork is filled with whimsical tales, obscure ideas and subtle comments on everyday society.
