I have been writing poetry before birth
Ms O'dea was the first poet to open the 'Poet's Corner' in Mornington back in the early 1990's and has lived on the peninsula all her life. Australian born and dedicated to her country of birth, she is an author and activist for hopeishope11 preventing violence against women. She has been actively been involved in the TV and music industry for over forty years. She has written a variety of journals and is currently working on two books at this point in time. She is the author of 19 books and is well presented for her contribution towards poetry.
