The White Street Light Boxes are situated in White Street Mall, a central point of Frankston. The three purpose built vertically oriented light boxes are filled with contemporary art and interdisciplinary projects. Artists produce three images or one image spanning the three light boxes, which are viewable by day and light up the White Street mall at night.
The White Street Project spans six months of the year and curator Mark Themann has attracted national and international artists to exhibit in White Street Mall.
In 2014 artists are invited to submit proposals to Frankston Arts Centre to exhibit in the White Street Light boxes incorporating the theme; ‘Living on the Edge’.
