The Mornington Peninsula Shire recognises that investment in creative communities contributes to building stronger and more vibrant places and spaces to work, live, and visit through increasing participation and access to creative endeavour.

Our Arts & Culture team incorporates the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery, a Local History unit, and two Community Arts and Cultural Development Officers. We operate an annual Creative Community Grants round, the Police Point artist in residence program, exhibition programs and a wide range of activities and promotional opportunities to enhance the cultural vitality of the region.
