Between the Bays Harmony Chorus allows men living in the Southern suburbs of Melbourne to sing in an a cappella men’s choir.
The Chorus is a professional, quality singing organisation comprising amateur performers, who rehearse once per week and who sing 4-part a cappella harmony. We would be pleased to hear from any man who can hold a tune, who loves close harmonies and would like to become part of a group.
The chorus sing popular songs from past and more recent years: the lead (tenor) voice sings the melody, the barbershop tenor (counter-tenor) harmonises above the lead, the bass sings the lowest notes and the baritone finds a fourth harmony note sometimes above and sometimes below the melody line.
