ROOM TO MOVE is a non-curated program offering choreographers and dance makers the opportunity to present work-in-progress in front of a live audience.

ROOM TO MOVE is a non-curated program for work-in-progress showings at Dancehouse.  It is designed to begin to develop the artist's and dance community's critical faculties and to assist the artist to create new work.

ROOM TO MOVE aims:

To offer critical examination frames and tools for the maker in the making

To embed criticality in Australian dance making as a practice of discourse and exchange

To develop critical understanding and appreciation of dance for audiences

To generate critical dialogue
