For reviews of local creativity...

Arts Review by Jade is a blogsite showcasing reviews of arts-based projects, performances and venues in Melbourne, Bayside and Mornington Peninsula.

The blog is inspired by the role of Frankston Arts Centre and the adjacent community arts space, Cube 37, in encouraging local residents to experience a wide range of high-profile concerts, visual arts exhibitions and community access workshops. Arts Review by Jade also aims to engage a diverse range of people for the shared enjoyment of the arts in our community by providing interesting, easy-to-read articles.

The writer, Jade Barker, holds a Master of Arts (Music Performance) from Monash University and is a full-time flutist in the Royal Australian Navy Band Melbourne. Her writing evolved from journaling, postgraduate research, work documents and article-writing.

Arts Review by Jade features a range of informative articles on Frankston Arts Centre, Cube 37 and local visual and performing arts. The most recent articles document the latest street art in Hastings and a concert from the Peninsula Summer Music Festival.
