Wednesday 8 January, 10am-12pm, ages 5-8, adult co-creator required

Wednesday 8 January, 2pm-4pm, ages 9-12, adult co-creator welcome but not required

Repurpose body parts from old toys to create your own curious creature from the deep. Materials provided, and participants are also encouraged to bring their own toys to repurpose.($12)


Skateboard workshop with Decks for Change

Monday 13 January, Mornington

Tuesday 14 January, Hastings

Wednesday 15 January, Rosebud

10am-12pm, ages 9-17

Work with renowned skate artists and use paints and paint-markers to decorate a refurbished skateboard deck (provided), with your own artwork. Enjoy a healthy snack, guidance from experts and all the materials needed to make your skateboard masterpiece a reality. Decks for Change is a not-for-profit organisation that uses skateboarding as a tool to empower and connect. All proceeds from the workshop go towards skateboarding initiatives in developing countries. Check for venue details. ($45 (take home your own deck))

Respond to the diversity of artworks in Sublime Sea, gather ideas and inspiration and learn to incorporate new ideas into your own thinking. Explore other artists’ use of materials and techniques and explore their application to your own artwork. BYO Visual Diary, all other materials supplied. ($25 total cost for three days)
