This is a FREE concert. The students performing for you at this concert are the winners of the 2017 Peninsula Music Society’s Bursary competition chosen after being auditioned and interviewed by a panel of adjudicators independent of PMS..

Each year since 1998, the Peninsula Music Society has held a Bursary program for local music students. Several past winners now enjoy careers as professional musicians working either in Australia or overseas. For the past few years, bursaries with an annual total value of around $20,000 have been awarded. Auditions for the 2017 Bursary competition were held on 30 July 2017 and eight successful students were declared the winners to share in the  prize money. Let's all celebrate with them as they are presented with their awards and encourage them as they perform.
