KM Kinstler posted in Exhibition
Three emerging artists Susan Young, Manjusha Manjusha and Kristen Kinstler – have teamed up for our first exhibition of 2017, “Divergent”.
The trio met while volunteering here at the FRANK Cre8 gallery, and through their shared passion for art, decided to collaborate and hold their own debut exhibition.
The definition of “Divergent” is “Tending to be different or develop in different directions” – and this reigns true in both the artists’ works and backgrounds.

Susan Young is an artist living and working in Melbourne.
She was born in 1972 in Hamilton, Victoria. Her Love of painting started as a child, winning art competitions from an early age.
She then went on to study art at Swinburne Secondary College. During her time there, she studied under Judy Alexandrovics, who helped develop her love for art.
Her works have been entered into Cube 37 competitions and The Peninsula Arts Society shows. An album he recently designed the cover for won the Melbourne Blues Society “Victorian & Tasmanian Blues Music Award 2016”.
This is her first exhibition and will be one of many.
Manjusha Manjusha is an Indian-born Melbournian curry. Being just 23 years old, Manjusha is a performing and practicing Indian classical dancer and singer, as well as a passionate artist.
She has in the past year started selling her contemporary artwork, and is also pursuing her Masters in Cultural Heritage at Deakin.
Manjusha, also fondly known as “Singari”, specialises in abstract line art that is heavily influenced by her post-Colonial Australian and Indian heritage.
She is very excited to be a part of this exhibition and to volunteer at FRANK Cre8, as well as several other galleries, museums and heritage listed sites in Victoria.
Kristen Kinstler is an artist from Brisbane who relocated to Melbourne in 2014.
Born in Papua New Guinea, Kristen always wanted to be an artist when she "grew up".
She studied art throughout high school and her work was first exhibited in 1997 as part of the Senior Art Student group showing. Since her school days, Kristen has taken part in numerous workshops and classes to further develop her skillset.
After 13 years of working in the insurance industry and neglecting her creative side, she decided to switch vocations and took up freelance graphic design and photography.
In the past year Kristen has finally returned to her true calling - creative art
