Warren Wicks

Warren has been a working musician and composer here and abroad for about fifteen years. His engagements have encompassed regular stints at various venues around Victoria, studio work, music lessons at primary and secondary schools, composing and arranging for a variety of ensembles including vocal groups and presenting and organising public performances.

He has maintained a good rapport with a reasonably sized following comprising people of different backgrounds and age groups. He has performed at prestigious venues like the governors palace and parliament house in Victoria on a few occasions and the Telstra dome. As a cellist and soloist for the Sri Lankan National Youth Orchestra, he has performed for the president and other dignitaries.

He currently teaches guitar bass and ukulele at primary and secondary schools and caters to the needs of a variety of listeners in the peninsula region playing genres ranging from different styles of jazz to renaissance music.
His CD "Amethyst Box" is available for purchase on Google Play.

He has a BMus from Box Hill Tafe and a Graduate diploma of teaching from Australian Catholic University.
