PETER STANLEY..SINGING FOR SENIORS

Singing for Seniors

I have been singing in Australian Bush Bands for over 25 years as my weekend hobby. I have been involved in the folk music scene with the Peninsula Folk Music Club in Frankston, and I am currently Club Secretary.

I have now retired from my “day job” and would like to share my passion for music and move into a “career” in providing “Singing for Seniors”. Having done a bit of this over the years on a casual basis, I think I have a fair idea what this age group wants to hear.

For Seniors, my song list includes Aussie classics like Waltzing Matilda, Home among the Gumtrees, Botany Bay and Road to Gundagai… Irish favourites like Cockles and Mussels, Mountains of Mourne and Tell me Ma… and Timeless classics like. Moonlight Bay, You are my Sunshine, It’s a Long way to Tipperary and Jamaican Farewell.

Happy to look at providing a theme such as A Salute to Australia, or an Irish theme.

If you are interested in having me come and play, give me a call... I’d love to hear from you
