Janice Mills Fine Artist
I am a fine artist with a studio on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia.
I am currently studying to complete a Master of Journalism (Art Journalism) and a Master of CreativeArt, I have a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching, a Graduate Certificate in Arts (Writing), a Bachelor of Fine Art and Visual Culture (with Distinction) (Honours). I also hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Management, Diploma of Visual Art and an Advanced Diploma of Creative Product Development.
I have a Working with Children Certificate and a Police Check Certificate.
I am currently building an arts practice to produce artworks for sale and exhibition and have a training room for workshops and art lessons on our property. I hold regular art lessons for children and adults from this building.
I volunteer regularly at the McClelland Gallery in the Educational Department. Schools and other groups bring kids to the gallery for workshops which I help to run during the year.
As a recent and current member of several art groups, I am now available to provide demonstrations for monthly meetings for groups in the south eastern suburbs, Mornington Peninsula and outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I am also available for commissions and to consult with art collectors who wish to add any of my works to their collections.
