Linda is inspired by the beautiful beaches and bushland of the Peninsula.
I love to capture light in my painting. A dew drop on a leaf or the glitter of light on water.
I am fascinated by the play of light. Silk has a marvelous reflective quality. I love to bead my work with small glass beads that capture light and reflect it back to the viewer.
I want the viewer to be captured by a moment of quiet beauty that transports them into a meditative space
where the mind becomes still and quiet a joyful respite from the from the hectic pace of the life.
