Cassie Stevens
Born on the Mornington Peninsula, Cassie's love and hate for traditional Aussie pride can be observed through aspects of her work, from the classic middle aged man seen down at the pub rocking a mambo shirt, to the young grom tearing up the waves at Gunnamatta. In 2015, Cassie completed her Diploma of Art and Design at Monash University, and is continuing her studies with a Bachelor of Communication Design. She has worked with clients such as InviteTed, The White Vans, and The Stiffys, directed the costume department for Frankston Theatre Group's production of "Cosi", and has completed a residency with Cowwarr Art Space during July 2016; all whilst regularly exhibiting in group shows around Melbourne in the past year.
